Marisa & Joe certainly know how to throw an amazing party! This blog post was a little longer than usual just because there were so many creative ideas to show... The afternoon began with a fun walk around their Pilsen neighborhood and through a street fair where there just happened to be a booth set-up for a pretend wedding - the couple was able to do a trial run before the real thing and it even included a first dance! Having a master's degree in cultural geography, I always love a wedding that incorporates personal details that highlight the couple's cultural heritage and this wedding was full of details and decor that drew on the groom's and the neighborhood's hispanic background. And the venue, Honky Tonk BBQ's Secret Garden, was equally as amazing. All-in-all it was an incredibly fun wedding for an incredible couple. Congratulations Marisa & Joe!
